We were lucky to hear from the creator of employer brand management, Simon Barrow as our closing keynote. He spoke about how the profession has changed over time, and he challenged our expectations for employer brand manager careers.
As connectors and collaborators across the departments and regions of most corporate organizations, we are uniquely qualified. He left us with the idea that the skills and experiences of Human Resources and Employer Brand management are great predecessors for the role of Chief Executive Officer.
As someone who has interviewed several dozen employer brand professionals and witnessed an overwhelming entrepreneurial theme, I couldn’t agree more.
