The Talent Brand Alliance NYC Metro Area Chapter has arrived

Following the second annual Talent Brand Summit in March, NYC-based Talent Brand Alliance (TBA) members were extremely energized and eager to continue fostering relationships and exchange learnings on a local level. The NYC Metro Area is a key location for our members that work for top companies continuing to create space for Talent Brand professionals, so it was only right that we started our second local chapter in this market.

Our first chapter meeting was held earlier this June, and focused on relationship building and peer to peer learning. Taking a nod from the Atlanta chapter, we formatted the meeting after a Lean Coffee – a structured but agenda-less meeting, where participants gather, build an agenda and begin talking. Conversations are directed and productive because the meeting agenda is democratically generated.

As a group, we focused on three key topics: Employee Advocacy, Building Content, and Metrics/ ROI. Each participant had the opportunity to share what has worked for them, challenges they’ve faced and collectively brainstormed next steps for key projects related to these topics. The meeting was set to end the event at 8:30 pm but the conversations continued well beyond 9:30 pm – I’d call that a win!

The evening’s high energy was directly attributed to Talent Brand Practitioners from companies like MongoDB, Audible, Sanofi, Unilever, Lever, New York Presbyterian, Andela, Macquarie Group and more sharing their insights and ideas.

Thank you to our friends at Recruitics for hosting and engaging throughout the evening and everyone who attended – you make our mission possible. We look forward to the next event!
