An Important Update for Our Talent Brand Alliance Community

Dear Talent Brand Alliance Community,

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share a significant update regarding Talent Brand Alliance.

Over the past three years, we've journeyed together through some incredibly challenging times. The global pandemic, economic recessions, and rapid technological changes have created an environment that has tested our resilience, creativity, and commitment. Together, we have faced these challenges head-on, continually adapting and striving to maintain our community as a vibrant and valuable space for everyone involved in talent branding.

However, despite our best efforts and the unwavering dedication of this wonderful community, we have reached a point where continuing Talent Brand Alliance in its current form is no longer sustainable. With deep regret, I must announce that as of March 31st, Talent Brand Alliance will cease its business operations. This includes our programs (mentorship, awards, board, etc), paid membership, and events.

This decision was not made lightly. It comes after much deliberation and a thorough assessment of our current situation and market environment. While this marks the end of an era for Talent Brand Alliance as a business, it's important to note that our Facebook group and platform for registering in the community will remain active. I will remain the steward of this community I built in 2012 and believe in the power of this community to help its members grow in their careers. I want to ensure that the bonds, networks, and friendships formed here continue to thrive. The group will continue to serve as a platform for sharing insights, supporting each other, and keeping the spirit of our community alive during this time of extreme uncertainty.

Regarding paid memberships, I want to assure you that we are committed to fairness and transparency. For those who have purchased Basic or Pro memberships after March 2023, we will be offering prorated refunds. Our team will contact each member individually to facilitate this process and ensure everyone is fairly compensated. If you do not hear from us and you would like a prorated refund for membership starting after March 31st, please contact accounting@talentbrand.org for assistance.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to our board members both past and present and of course each of you. Your engagement, support, and contributions have been the lifeblood of Talent Brand Alliance. You've made this community a rich tapestry of ideas, inspiration, and mutual support. While our formal programs and events and goal of building an association for our industry are coming to an end for now, the connections and impacts we've made together will undoubtedly endure.

We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we are here to answer any questions and provide support during this transition period. Please feel free to share your thoughts, memories, or any messages in this group as we navigate this change together. You can also reach out to me at will@talentbrand.org with any questions.

Thank you once again for being an integral part of Talent Brand Alliance. Your passion and dedication have been the driving force behind all that we've accomplished, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Warm regards,
