#TBSummit Update: Reschedule due to COVID-19

We've been watching the global stage, following updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as our local Austin situation (0 reported cases of COVID-19), and have stayed focused on the upcoming event. However, one very important thing remains out of our control: corporate travel restrictions.

We've decided to reschedule the Summit for July 7–9, 2020. Same agenda/days, different dates.

This decision is based on a mix of caution for the personal safety of our members, facilitators, and sponsors and our desire to have an amazing Summit attended by the right talent branders.

This means we have an additional 16 weeks until the workshop, making this once again the official “Summer 🎯Camp for Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing 🤓Nerds!”

Based on that information, you are either:

  • Happy to visit Texas in July and are now thinking about your 👙 swimsuit for the lazy river. 🏊

  • Bummed because you have a competing personal or business obligation.

  • Unsure how to feel because you don't know if your company restrictions will be lifted by then.

If you know for certain you can't attend the new date, please request a purchase price refund through your Eventbrite account. If you're not sure if you will be able to attend, please hang on to your ticket for now.

You have until June 6 (30 days before the event) to request a refund if that date doesn't end up working for you. If needed, you can also transfer your ticket to another member of your team as long as that person meets event guidelines. (If you’re unsure, submit a ticket request here.)

Most airlines are processing transfer tickets at no cost right now, so please make adjustments if you've already booked your flight. We will be sending out updated hotel booking information soon to Summit attendees.

For any and all concerns, questions, thoughts you want to share, feel free to comment below or email us privately at summit@talentbrand.org.

Thanks so much for coming along on this journey!
