Crisis shakes our foundations. For many people, basic physiological and safety needs are in the balance right now as companies furlough and lay off employees to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic.

It has been said that “Character is what a man is in the dark,” and similarly the idea that what comes out when life squeezes you is what is truly inside. How our companies serve struggling clients, customers, and the broader community amid our own company challenges will say more about our values than anything we say about ourselves. This is a defining moment for employer brands.
