TBA Board Nominations Are Now Open

The Talent Brand Alliance is a community built by practitioners, for practitioners. The members that make up our inaugural board, have helped us double in membership size over the last two years.

They’ve helped us define and refine what a Summit event experience looks and feels like. They have set the standard for member calls and pioneered our local chapters - shoutout to our first one in Atlanta! And they have shared knowledge and their perspective as supportive members of the broader TBA community. Moving forward, much of our upcoming community platform direction has come from insightful conversations with each and every one of our board.

A huge thank you to our original group of board members, along with our newer board members who have stepped up along the way. We wouldn’t be where we are without you.

For a high level overview, please see the roles below, but we don’t expect this to answer all of your questions.

The Membership Board Member is in charge of leading a committee of volunteers to support the successful recruitment and growth of our member community. You’ll work collaboratively with our board and members in support of chapter activities and events, as well as driving potential and existing member awareness, education, and interest.

The Knowledge Base Board Member will find and empower a hands-on committee leader to help leverage the shared knowledge and resources of the community. You’ll be responsible for architecting the development of resources, collateral, content, member call slides, event notes, and other value-adding information to build and maintain a knowledge base for Talent Brand Alliance.

The Mentorship Board Member helps match and connect TBA community members with each other directly. You’ll be responsible for leading a committee of volunteers to support the successful pairing, mentorship, and career growth of our member community. You’ll work collaboratively with our board and external educators in support of networking activities and events, as well as driving the personal development of our members.

The Events Board Member is responsible for leading a committee of volunteers to support the successful production of virtual and in-person events for TBA members. You’ll work collaboratively with our board and external partners and vendors to produce successful Summit and chapter events, in support of membership growth and a phenomenal attendee experience.

The Marketing Board Member is responsible for leading a committee of volunteers to support the internal and external communications needs of the community and its board. You’ll work creatively and collaboratively with our board and members in support of the TBA brand and publicly facing properties, content, and assets. You’ll also drive the external content production engine for our social media and blog channels to help spread the knowledge of our profession.

We hope the next iteration of the board will continue to help us refine our expectations, push our boundaries, and create an amazingly helpful experience for talent branders across the world. If that’s your hope as well, we’d love to chat with you. Please use the button below to start a conversation.
