The Official 2022 Talent Brand Award Winners
We are somehow already in Q3 2022, and we at the Talent Brand Alliance took some critical time last week to celebrate the hard work of recruitment marketing and employer branding among our fellow practitioners. We all hold roles in which we constantly focus on candidates and employees, recognizing their accomplishments and championing them. It was a day to turn the spotlight inwards and acknowledge the incredible work being done every day.
This year the Talent Brand Awards ceremony was presented by Clinch and we appreciate their amazing partnership to pull off the celebration!
WHO JUDGED THE AWARDS?
The judging panel consisted of sixteen talent brand professionals from both in-house teams and agencies, across industries such as finance, technology, communications, logistics, pharmaceutical, and many more. It included the Talent Brand Alliance Board as well as previous Talent Brand Award winners who were able to participate in the review process this year.
HOW WERE WINNERS NOMINATED AND SELECTED?
We believe in quality, not cost. Industry professionals incurred no charge to nominate themselves or other talent brand practitioners. Nominees were chosen for their impactful contributions to their companies in the ever-changing industry that focuses on attracting and retaining top talent. Nominees are people who inspire other professionals to think creatively and push boundaries across different components of their company’s talent brand.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Talent Brand Award winners! You are truly leading the way in our exciting, ever-growing and evolving industry.
🏆 Talent Brand Alliance Community Champion - Carrie Corcoran
We have hundreds of valuable members in the Talent Brand Alliance, and we want to recognize those among us who show up, engage, respond, mentor, and share their knowledge with the community.
🏆 Best Social Media Handle/Account Winner – GoDaddyLife
Likes, Reactions, Comments, and Reshares are important. But where’s the character and the story? Who has the most intriguing storytelling, engagement, and strategy behind social media efforts? That’s where this award comes in.
🏆 Most Creative Campaign/Media of the Year Winner — Kohler [Altogether]
Most Creative Campaign/Media; The Most Creative Talent Brand Campaign award is all about creativity and ability to stand out. Whether it’s employee generated content, or a high quality video production, the merit is in the story itself. This category includes both campaigns and individual media assets submitted as nominations.
🏆 Strongest Impact Campaign/Media of the Year Winner — CVS
The Strongest Impact Talent Brand Campaign award is all about the numbers. We can tell the best stories, but the best campaigns engage an audience to respond and take action. The nominations included data around impact and the end results from their recruiting and branding efforts.
🏆 Inspirational Solo Talent Brander of the Year - Caitlin Patek
You are the CEO of our company’s talent brand. This award is for the practitioners who are one-person teams. They coordinate stakeholders, budgets, vendors, and sometimes Canva templates, and they manage to make it look easy.
🏆 Best Use of Talent Brand Tools & Tech - Celonis
Talent Brand Tools and Technology can sometimes make or break our ability to be successful. Did the nominee use technology in a creative and new way? We considered the setup of the technology infrastructure. Did the nominee deploy new software or use technology in a creative way, showing ROI on their EB efforts?
We will be sharing video acceptance speeches from our winners soon in a blog post and across the Talent Brand Alliance social channels, so stay tuned!
🏆 Talent Brand Team of the Year - KnowBe4
Some of us are lucky enough to have team partners in talent brand. This award is for teams of two or more people who either own or manage a program. The criteria is holistic across channels and initiatives, as well as what their collective team effort has produced. This should be a team that is pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo.
🏆 Talent Brand Leader of the Year - Alex Her
It takes more than being a manager to be a true leader. Leaders have high visibility in our field, own results of the overall team, and share their expertise and knowledge outside their circle of authority. They manage a team of two or more practitioners, and 60% of the nominees lead international teams.
When fellow practitioners come together, sparks fly - and we don’t just mean at the Summit bonfire. In March of 2022 our annual Talent Brand Summit was back in person, and this October, we cannot wait for more excitement and engagement at a new venue: The Chicago Athletic Association.
Tickets are still available for the October 19-21 Summit. Get ready for an interactive few days full of actionable insights, new perspectives, and intriguing ideas. This is not your average conference; we facilitate multiple opportunities for you to connect with peers to explore what other talent branders are doing. We’ll talk shop and discuss real, specific challenges we are facing.
As you meet new people and reconnect with industry friends, keep an eye on those who inspire you so you can submit your nominations for next year’s Talent Brand Alliance Awards!
